Access and accounts

How do I sign in? Open {slug}.poultrydesk.com and sign in with your email and password. If you were invited, use the invite link in your email first to set a password.

Can I change my subdomain? No. The subdomain is chosen at sign-up and is fixed afterwards. Contact support before adding data if it is wrong.

A screen or button is missing for me. Two possible causes: your role (field staff do not see finance or billing by design) or your plan (some features are gated by your subscription tier). Check your role with your Owner and compare plans under Billing.

Offline and sync

What does the queued badge mean? Your entry was saved on the device immediately and is waiting to upload. You do not need to resubmit. It uploads automatically in the background when a connection is available.

An entry has been queued for a long time. Check the device's connection. Queued entries are safe; they are held locally until they sync and do not expire.

Two people entered records for the same flock while offline. What happens? Both entries are kept. The server orders events on sync and reconciles them. Nothing is silently overwritten.

Health and withdrawals

I cannot sell or harvest a lot. The lot is probably under an active medicine withdrawal period. Selling under withdrawal requires an explicit override with a written reason, recorded in the audit trail. This is a food-safety control; do not override casually.

Finance

A shared cost was split unfairly across lots. Check the allocation method you chose and the house-area figures behind it. A wrong area produces an unfair split. Re-allocate from the expense; the new allocation supersedes the old one.

How do I fix a wrong sale? Do not delete it. Record a correcting entry from the sale. Corrections are new entries and the original stays in the record.

Finance is my farm's money. What is Billing? Finance is your operation's own sales and expenses. Billing is what you pay PoultryDesk for the subscription. They are separate.
