The audit trail
PoultryDesk can answer the question "what happened on this lot, at this site, or by this person, and how do we know?" without leaving the product. Every entry ever made is kept, in order, and cannot be quietly changed - which is what makes your records trustworthy to an auditor, a buyer's quality team, or yourself.
Viewing the timeline
Open the audit view under Compliance (or the audit section) and choose how to filter:
- by lot
- by site or house
- by person
- by device
- by date range
- by the kind of entry
Each row shows when it happened, what kind of entry it was, who made it, and on which device, with a one-line summary. Open a row to see the full detail.
Why it can be trusted
The trail is append-only. Entries are never edited in place or deleted - a correction is recorded as a new entry that points back to the one it fixes, so the original and the correction both remain visible. Nothing in the app can remove a row. And the trail is always scoped to your own organization; there is no path that could show another organization's records.
Exporting a packet
When an auditor or buyer asks for evidence, choose Export. You get a file listing every entry that matched your filters, stamped with your organization name, the filters you applied, the time of export, and who ran it - a self-contained packet you can hand over.
